The 030 Story
In 2022, Keith Davenport ran for Kansas House of Representatives in House District 43, mostly made up of Gardner, Kansas. He ran on a community development platform, focusing on issues that would increase wages, make housing more affordable, and enable individuals and families to thrive. He lost the race, but he gained deep roots and connections in the community.
In 2023, he decided to turn his energies toward business, hoping that it would create another pathway for investing in the community. The journey was really kicked off when Steve and Beth Hines agreed to sell Groundhouse Coffee to Keith primarily through seller financing.
Later that year, Keith launched Blazer Strategies to support small businesses and nonprofit organizations. In early 2025 he co-founded MythicHire, an HR Tech company that’s changing the landscape of application review.
He realized that centralizing services for the three businesses would provide new benefits for them all. This became the groundwork for 030 Holding Company, which he founded in July 2025.
Now, we buy, build and invest in people-first businesses that increase access to high-paying jobs and whole-person well-being—starting in Gardner, Kansas, (the 66030 zip code) and expanding from there. We closed our first acquisition on October 1, 2025 and rebranded a custom apparel company to become Madison Street Threads.
The 030 Holding Co exists to create long-term value across a portfolio of companies aligned by values, not by industry. The holding company model allows us to centralize operations, reduce risk, optimize capital deployment, and build infrastructure that enables people-first businesses to scale efficiently and responsibly. We’re creating an internal ecosystem where everyone benefits, new pathways to ownership are created, and small towns receive new economic development.
While not all portfolio companies will be located within the 66030 zip code, the holding company headquarters will remain in Gardner, Kansas. This geographic center provides both symbolic and practical alignment with our long-term goal: to increase the number of high-quality, high-paying, people-first jobs in and around this community.
